Does Coffee Raise or Lower Your Blood Pressure?

healthy coffee and blood pressure

A recent study mentioned in the Daily Health Updates revealed that different aspects of high blood pressure means different dangers. For instance if the upper number is high (the systolic blood pressure) then one of the things you are at increased risks of is a bleeding stroke. His should alert your doctor that giving you Aspirin will be a bad idea as Aspirin also increases the risk of this kind of stroke.

With high blood pressure, 2 of the commonest treatable causes I find most people have not explored are 1) Neck Problems and 2) the coffee they drink.

Something as simple as neck massage on a regular basis has been shown to decrease blood pressure as much as any drug in some people (but without the side effects). Certainly effective in mild problems – http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23930160
..and yes, chiropractic may help too – http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24294146
On the coffee front, many patients who are drinking even just 1 cup a day of coffee find changes by stopping, but even better results if they change to the new healthy coffee I use in the clinic. Why does the coffee I use have such a different effect? Because it is infused with one of China’s most effective and well researched natural remedies – ganoderma lucidum. Ganoderma has a host of health benefits from lowering blood pressure to improving stamina and sleep! Feel free to pop in and try a cup.
