Thought on ‘90% Vaccine Effectiveness’

Update as of September 2020:
The first trial on giving Vitamin D supplements to coronavirus patients in hospitals has just been completed in Spain.
The results where –
High dose Vitamin D supplementation reduced need for intensive care by 98% (compared to only 50% for current medical/drug care) and nobody given vitamin D died, while 7% of those using only current treatments did.
To be clear, both groups of people in hospital received the drugs, but those given D3 in addition did remarkably better.
It seems likely that vitamin D by itself is pretty effective (and safe).
If you add this to the earlier hospital trial in Singapore using low dose vitamin D, B12 and magnesium for just 5 days, AND all the other data looking and nutrient levels then it would strongly support the hypothesis that all we need to do to safely and dramatically decrease the threat of covid is take a good multivitamin and extra D3.
…and this is without having to improve diet or exercise – so it’s easy for everyone.
The dose of D3 given in the Spanish trial was the equivalent of 30,000 IU a day for 7 days, then about 7000IU per day after that. (This was for treatment of covid – see below for my thoughts on prevention)
A possible prevention strategy using the information above:
Vitamin D3 1000 IU
Vitamin B12 500mcg
And from the D3 study it would seem wise that upping the D dose to 5000IU per day could be preventative (which is what I usually recommend for everyone through winter to help stay healthy).
A couple of extra points…
Taking vitamin K2 with vitamin D helps prevent vitamin D toxicity, and also confers many other health benefits.
So, you would take just 2 of the 3 supplements at the Singapore levels (or close), such as:

However, as many people are deficient in a range of vitamins and minerals known to be important for immune health, I prefer adding a multi to the above – OR just take a multi, and the high dose D3

Now back to the vaccine….
One thing I constantly worry about is ‘How long is this all going to take?’
And are we really going to have to sit and wait for a vaccine?
Here’s some facts I dug up about vaccines.
Good vaccines that have taken 20 to 30 years to develop and have gone through multiple upgrades still fail to create antibodies 2-10% of the time.
Vaccines against the flu fail between 40% to 90% of the time!
Vaccines made for previous coronaviruses failed between 25% and 86% of the time.
Maybe we will have better luck with C19?
Do we really want to wait 18 months though, only to fail?
Some good news though:
A study from China showed that patients who received both hospital medicine AND traditional herbs chosen specifically for them had a death rate 27x lower than those who just got medical care alone.

Now, are you ready for this?
Most of the population do not have a healthy lifestyle – ie they fail in at least one area of eating, exercise, stress, sleep or smoking.
So only 3-5% of the ‘General Population’ are actually fully health and immune optimised.
And amongst that group of people… the C19 death rate…. 0.00014%.
That means that the top 3-5% of the population are 1428 times more likely to survive.
This means that despite what the media has been spewing there are many health strategies you can start using today that will help your immune system (and REALLY save the NHS).
And this is without factoring for another major contributor to covid deaths – air pollution! (which you can protect yourself against)
So my mission at the moment is quite simple.
1) To work with people who have cardiovascular disease and diabetes to gain better control over their health, lower their mediation needs, and lower their risk.
2) To work with those in the ‘General Population’ that want to become part of the truly ‘Healthy Population’
3) Work with those in the Healthy Population ‘detox’ from air and other pollution and become even more robust and energetic.

While the government is concentrating on washing hands and self-isolation, and the media is intent on doing nothing of benefit, I thought it would be a good idea to write something useful for you. Something that is practical, evidence based, and effective not just protecting against one virus (which is all vaccine can do), but a number of today’s major concerns.
For instance – 7 people die EVERY day from taking pain killer in the UK. 192 will die from diabetes. And 2,191will die today in Europe from air pollution. So instead of spending a fortune on telling people to wash their hands and 46 million pounds on a vaccine, why not try this approach instead:
- 400 micrograms (mcg) of folate (B9),
- 3 to 1.7 mg of B6
- and 2.4 mcg of B12

Antibiotics are being massively over-prescribed, and that is bad news for a number of reasons, the most devastating is that they cause long term damage to our cells.
There are lots of things we can do to boost our immunity with no downsides.
One is to increase our use of particular ‘superfoods’.
There are many superfoods that get plenty of mentions on the internet, and you may already be using some – such as turmeric, aloe vera, chlorella and spirulina.
They all have great health properties and I recommend them all.

Noni, a fruit from Australia and India combats inflammation and boosts immunity, and may be good for cancer pain relief
Mangosteen: a small purple tree fruit grown in Southeast Asi.
In the 19th century, the mangosteen was given the nickname “the queen of fruits,” due to a rumour that they had been particularly sought by Queen Victoria.
It’s health effects are possibly down to a group of chemical called xanthonoids. Effects include immune boosting, improved pancreatic and cardiovascular function, decreased inflammation & antibacterial properties.

Acerola Cherry – stops the growth and spread of lung cancer.

May help with Asthma, and protect the liver, heart and brain from stroke, Alzheimer’s’ and Parkinson’s.
May also help improve sleep.

Personally I have more energy, and have become very resilient to the cold, just in time for winter.
This stuff is far more powerful than any medicine, although I do urge caution if you have a medical condition, and do NOT try it if you are pregnant.

THE THREE GREAT SURVIVAL FACTORS

“The 1917 – 1918 influenza epidemic swept silently across the world bringing death and fear to homes in every land. Disease and pestilence, especially the epidemics, are little understood even now and many of the factors that spread them are still mysterious shadows, but in 1917-1918 almost nothing was known about prevention, protection, treatment or cure of influenza. The whole world stood at its mercy, or lack of it.”
“But out of that particular epidemic, the young science of chiropractic grew into a new measure of safety. While many struggles would lie ahead this successful passage of the profession into early maturity assured its immediate survival and made the eventual outcome of chiropractic a matter for optimism. If there had been any lack of enthusiasm among the doctors of chiropractic, or a depleting of the sources of students then the epidemic took care of them too. These chiropractic survivors of the flu epidemic were sure, assured, determined, and ready to fight any battle that came up. The effect of the epidemic becomes evident in interviews made with old-timers practicing in those years. The refrain comes repeatedly,”
‘I was about to go out of business when the flu epidemic came – but when it was over, I was firmly established in practice.’
“Why? The answer is reasonably simple. Chiropractors got fantastic results from influenza patients while those under medical care died like flies all around.” “Statistics reflect a most amazing, almost miraculous state of affairs. The medical profession was practically helpless with the flu victims but chiropractors seemed able to do no wrong.”
“In Davenport, Iowa, 50 medical doctors treated 4,953 cases, with 274 deaths. In the same city, 150 chiropractors including students and faculty of the Palmer School of Chiropractic, treated 1,635 cases with only one death.”
“In the state of Iowa, medical doctors treated 93,590 patients, with 6,116 deaths – a loss of one patient out of every 15. In the same state, excluding Davenport, 4,735 patients were treated by chiropractors with a loss of only 6 cases – a loss of one patient out of every 789.”
“National figures show that 1,142 chiropractors treated 46,394 patients for influenza during 1918, with a loss of 54 patients – one out of every 886.”
“Reports show that in New York City, during the influenza epidemic of 1918, out of every 10,000 cases medically treated, 950 died; and in every 10,000 pneumonia cases medically treated 6,400 died. These figures are exact, for in that city these are reportable diseases.”
“In the same epidemic, under drugless methods, only 25 patients died of influenza out of every 10,000 cases; and only 100 patients died of pneumonia out of every 10,000 cases. This comparison is made more striking by the following table:”
Influenza Cases Deaths – Under medical methods – Under drugless methods “In the same epidemic reports show that chiropractors in Oklahoma treated 3,490 cases of influenza with only 7 deaths. But the best part of this is, in Oklahoma there is a clear record showing that chiropractors were called in 233 cases where medical doctors had cared for the patients, and finally gave them up as lost. The chiropractors saved all these lost cases but 25.”
“Statistics alone, however, don’t put in that little human element needed to spark the material properly. Dr. S. T. McMurrain [DC] had a makeshift table installed in the influenza ward in Base Hospital No. 84 unit stationed in Perigau, in Southwestern France, about 85 kilometers from Bordeaux [during WWI]. The medical officer in charge sent all influenza patients in for chiropractic adjustments from Dr. McMurrain [DC] for the several months the epidemic raged in that area. Lt. Col. McNaughton, the detachment commander, was so impressed he requested to have Dr. McMurrain [DC] commissioned in the Sanitary Corps.”
“Dr. Paul Myers [DC] of Wichita Falls was pressed into service by the County Health Officer and authorized to write prescriptions for the duration of the epidemic there – but Dr. Myers [DC] said he never wrote any, getting better results without medication.”
Dr. Helen B. Mason [DC], whose “son, when only a year old, became very ill with bronchitis. My husband and I took him to several medical specialists without any worthwhile results. We called a chiropractor, as a last resort, and were amazed at the rapidity of his recovery. We discussed this amazing cure at length and came to the decision that if chiropractic could do as much for the health of other individuals as it had done for our son we wanted to become chiropractors.”
Dr. M. L. Stanphill [DC] recounts his experiences: “I had quite a bit of practice in 1918 when the flu broke out. I stayed (in Van Alstyne) until the flu was over and had the greatest success, taking many cases that had been given up and restoring them back to health. During the flu we didn’t have the automobile. I went horseback and drove a buggy day and night. I stayed overnight when the patients were real bad. When the rain and snow came I just stayed it out. There wasn’t a member of my family that had the flu.”
When he came to Denison he said: “I had a lot of trouble with pneumonia when I first came. Once again took all the cases that had been given up. C. R. Crabetree, who lived about 18 miles west of Denison, had double pneumonia and I went and stayed all night with him and until he came to the next morning. He is still living today. That gave me a boost on the west side of town.”
“And when interviews of the old timers are made it is evident that each still vividly remembers the 1917-1918 influenza epidemic. We now know about 20 million persons [recent estimates are as high as 100 million deaths] around the world died of the flu with about 500,000 Americans among that number. But most chiropractors and their patients were miraculously spared and we repeatedly hear about those decisions to become a chiropractor after a remarkable recovery or when a close family member given up for dead suddenly came back to vibrant health.”
“Some of these men and women were to become the major characters thrust upon the profession’s stage in the 20’s and 30’s and they had the courage, the background and the conviction to withstand all that would shortly be thrown against them” [including being thrown in jail for practicing medicine without a license].
“The publicity and reputation of such effectiveness in handling flu cases also brought new patients and much acclaim from people who knew nothing of chiropractic before 1918.”
“The first survival factor for chiropractic: they were the legal and legislative salvation. But the fabulous success of chiropractic in combating the 1917-1918 influenza outbreak was the public relations breakthrough that can certainly be called the second great survival factor. Better acceptance by the public followed and more patients meant financial safety for practicing chiropractors. Dedicated chiropractors came into the profession in increasing numbers and they had a sure sense of certainty, heady conviction, and a great willingness to fight for the cause.”

Ageing can be thought of as a form of rusting.
Rusting is exacerbated by oxidation – which happens naturally when you exercise, and as part of life, and it is accelerated by pollution and toxins in the air we breathe, the water we drink, the food we eat, and even the 200 chemicals in our bathrooms and cleaning products.
Of all the molecules our body makes to protect us against this onslaught, glutathione is arguably the most important.
But even glutathione itself is under attack by medicine we think of as safe – paracetamol and Calpol.

Glutathione is the body’s master antioxidant .

Yes, it really is World Freedom Day. (..and health freedom for you if you keep reading)
It was mentioned on ClassicFM this morning, and along with Trump winning the US election, and the recent UK Brexit vote and it started me thinking.
…and then I listened to my favourite morning motivation – Pete Cohen at www.Mi365.me and he had made me think even more.
Pete said that nothing you can do today will change the outcome of the two recent votes.
Life isn’t about what happens outside of us, it’s what we choose to do with these ‘happenings’ that determines our future.
Today you can choose to ‘Vote for Yourself’, you can grab your own headlines.
…and so I thought, ‘What is my manifesto, what would I do if I had millions of pounds to run for office?’
This made me realise that my manifesto needs no multi-million pound campaign. I can start right now.
You see, what I want, is to make my community the healthiest, happiest place to live in Great Britain. I want to make Great Britain the healthiest, happiest country in the world. I want the World to take note, and become a healthier, happier planet for my children to enjoy.
At the moment in the UK, our amazing NHS is under crippling pressure, and prescriptions for anti-depressants and mood altering drugs is spiralling upwards out of control. We are getting sicker and less happy.
But do you know what the shocking truth is?
About 50% of everyone depending on expensive medication could be off it in 6 months with just one change! One FREE change.
