No matter how many times doctors, health officials, and poorly informed health journalists say we don’t need to take vitamin supplements and they do no good, they can not stop the ever increasing flow of research that says otherwise.
It is sad that our modern lifestyle and food manufacturing processes have lead to this, but if we want to live a life removed from nature, and in un-natural civilised comfort, then we need to do un-natural things to keep healthy.
One is exercising just to exercise, as opposed to exercising as we have to hunt for food. Another is seeing a chiropractor to loosen those joints that stiffen up due to sitting for long hours. A third is taking vitamins to supplement a deficiency in the fruit and veg we eat.
A presentation at the 101st annual meeting of the American Association of Cancer Prevention revealed that taking vitamin supplements reduced the risk of breast cancer by 30%, and taking the mineral calcium reduced risks by 40%.
Quite staggering, so please pass on this information to those you care about. If you want advice about good vitamin and mineral supplements then contact me at the clinic.
