Acupuncture Good for Back Pain

health benefits of acupunctureI don’t think this will surprise many people as acupuncture has been recommended as a primary treatment for back pain by NICE (National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence) since 2011.

Acupuncture also works well with persistent and repeated back pain problems in conjunction with more neurologically based therapies like chiropractic.

What may surprise you are the other areas of expertise available through my acupuncturist (yes – I get regular energetic tune ups every 5 weeks or so) Zadi, at Barnet Acupuncture.

With nearly 20 years of experience in helping couples with their fertility, preparation for IVF and egg transfer, treatment for symptoms during pregnancy including morning sickness, pre birth treatments, natural induction and postnatal treatment, acupuncture offers a safe, natural and recognised treatment alternative.

In addition Barnet Acupuncture offers Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture (FRA).  This natural revitalising treatment improves the overall appearance of the face and at the same time begins to address some of the underlying health elements that help shape it- for better or worse! Using ultra- fine needles, heated “tiger warmers” and massage, the effect can be instantaneous, though a course usually has a more lasting effect. Louise Rednapp described it as one of her favourite and regular treatments in the “How not to look old” programme.

If you would like more information about these or any other conditions acupuncture can help with please contact Zadi via Barnet Acupuncture or phone 07939 247627.

Treatment is available at the Pain Relief Centre, Brookmans Park, in Potters Bar or Barnet, by appointment.
