Over the next month we’re going to be busy both learning and teaching at the clinic.
We have two talks coming up at the end of the month – one on Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) on the 30th, and the other on 23rd June “An Alternative to Statins”.
“An Alternative to Statins” is a presentation by cardiac specialist Dr David Dighton on his findings of 40 years of clinical experience. Dr Dighton specialises in the very early detection and prevention of heart disease.
For those of you who don’t know ‘statins’ are haled by the drug companies as a ‘miracle’ cholesterol lowering, life saving drug. Many doctors go along with this, and there are a few who spend more time investigating what is really going on – one such doctor is the good Dr Dighton.
For many years now statins have been controversial, mainly because the drug companies say they work, yet independent studies say they do very little, and many peoples personal experience with them is painful.
Dr Dighton is clear that they work – but only at two or three times the dose needed to lower cholesterol – which brings far more risks. For this reason Dr Dighton has tried to find an alternative way to clean arteries, or even better – prevent damage from happening.
